Terms & Conditons
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the use of storage units and related services provided by Shawfield Self Storage ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") to the customer ("Customer," "you," or "your"). By renting a storage unit from us, you agree to be bound by the terms outlined in this Agreement.
2. Definitions
Storage Unit: The specific storage space rented by the Customer.
Facility: The premises where the Storage Units are located.
Rental Period: The duration for which the Storage Unit is rented.
Rent: The payment made by the Customer for the use of the Storage Unit.
Access Hours: The designated hours during which the Customer may access the Storage Unit.

3. Agreement to Terms
By signing the rental agreement or accessing the Storage Unit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
4. Use of Storage Unit
4.1 Permitted Use
The Storage Unit shall be used solely for the purpose of storing personal or business property. The Storage Unit shall not be used for residential purposes, conducting business operations, or any illegal activities.
4.2 Prohibited Items
You shall not store any of the following items in the Storage Unit:
Flammable, explosive, or hazardous materials.
Perishable goods or food items.
Living organisms, including plants and animals.
Firearms, ammunition, or weapons.
Stolen or illegal goods.
Items emitting odors or producing noise.
Any other items prohibited by law or specified by the Company.

4.3 Condition and Maintenance
You are responsible for keeping the Storage Unit clean and in good condition. Any damage caused to the Storage Unit during the Rental Period shall be repaired at your expense.
5. Payment Terms
5.1 Rent
Rent is due in full and in advance on the first day of each Rental Period. The amount of Rent and the Rental Period are specified in the rental agreement.

5.2 Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods:
Credit cards, debit cards and bank transfers

6. Termination
6.1 Termination by Customer
You may terminate this Agreement by providing 15 days' written notice to the Company prior to the end of the current Rental Period.
6.2 Termination by Company
The Company may terminate this Agreement with immediate effect if you:
Violate any terms of this Agreement.
Fail to pay Rent or other charges when due.
Use the Storage Unit for prohibited purposes.

6.3 Vacating the Unit
Upon termination, you must remove all stored items and leave the Storage Unit clean and in good condition. Failure to do so may result in additional charges.

7. Changes to Terms
The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you in writing [Insert method of communication, e.g., email or postal mail] at least [Insert Number] days before taking effect. Continued use of the Storage Unit after changes have been made constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
8. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between you and the Company regarding the subject matter herein and supersedes all prior discussions, agreements, and understandings of any kind.
